Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium fabricator in Reading, England. On the job you will handle: • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw Requirements: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
