Urgent requirement: pressman (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will work in a garment export house. Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; give each garment a final press before packing. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
