Now hiring: we are hiring a container truck driver in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy distribution depot. The role involves: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid digital tachograph card 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
