Quality assurance assistant • Houston County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Houston County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Full-time with occasional weekends.
