Shuttering charge hand wanted in Washington Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a residential tower site. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules On the job you will handle: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
