Garment machinist wanted in Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Marion County, Missouri. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
