Vacancy available: lift erector (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Overtime paid at a premium rate.
