Urgent requirement: reinforcement fitter (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Macon County, Tennessee. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
