Garment machinist wanted in Barry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Barry County, Michigan. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
