Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in City of Norton, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Day to day you will clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
