Stamping press operator wanted in Wahkiakum County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Wahkiakum County, Washington. You will work at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
