Metal caster wanted in Prairie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Prairie County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
