Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Dallas County, Iowa. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
