Urgent requirement: blocklayer (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ogemaw County, Michigan. You will be based at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation.
