Landscape gardener — Jones County

Now hiring: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Jones County, Iowa. The job is at a plant nursery. Your main tasks: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
