Lift maintenance fitter — Alpine County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Alpine County, California. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Run load and overload tests with test weights What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 4+ years on the tools preferred.
