Now hiring: gas service engineer (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Tompkins County, New York. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. You will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
