Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Knott County, Kentucky. The job is on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
