UPVC window fitter wanted in Derby

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Derby, England. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
