Garment machinist — Iseyin

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Iseyin, Oyo State. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
