Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Pipestone County, Minnesota. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
