Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code On a typical shift you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish.
