Gas metal arc welder — Pitkin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Pitkin County, Colorado. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
