Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Taylor County, West Virginia. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
