Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Franklin County, Alabama. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments.
