Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Bedford County, Virginia. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. You will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
