Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Iron County, Missouri. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Part-time with flexible hours.
