Offshore rigger — Idanre

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Idanre, Ondo State. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Part-time with flexible hours.
