Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy production line. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
