HSE officer — Orleans Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day to day you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
