Rebar foreman • Lapeer County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Lapeer County, Michigan. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
