Port container crane operator • Taos County, New Mexico

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Taos County, New Mexico. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
