RCC mason wanted in Elmore County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a RCC mason in Elmore County, Alabama. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
