Turning centre operator wanted in Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a busy machine shop. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On a typical shift you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
