We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Monroe County, Indiana. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
