Site safety steward wanted in Benzie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Benzie County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
