Urgent requirement: lift maintenance fitter (Alaska)

Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
