Marble fitter • Hancock County, Maine

Now hiring: we are hiring a marble fitter in Hancock County, Maine. You will work on a residential building site. Day to day you will seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs 6+ years on the tools preferred.
