Toolroom milling operator wanted in Ards and North Down

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On a typical shift you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
