Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Alpena County, Michigan. You will be based on a commercial building project. On a typical shift you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
