HVAC installer — South Ayrshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC installer in South Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based on new-build apartment projects. Day-to-day duties: • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
