Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Surry County, Virginia. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 1+ years on the tools preferred.
