Canteen cook — Tensas Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a canteen cook in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Your main tasks: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift 6+ years on the tools preferred.
