Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in San Saba County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts.
