Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Cheyenne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Cheyenne County, Kansas. The job is on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
