Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Opobo/Nkoro, Rivers State. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Overtime paid at a premium rate.
