Health and safety supervisor • Oyo East, Oyo State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Oyo East, Oyo State. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
