Road roller operator • Palo Alto County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Palo Alto County, Iowa. You will work at a plant hire yard. Day to day you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Rotating shifts.
