Great opportunity: vacuum press operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will work at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
