You should have: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic Day to day you will trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
